Walked to the Coliseum
This is what you see
(It's a huge poster of a guy with a hat made of fruits......is this a good advertisement for the HK Open? Let you decide....)

You can get other night views
(Sorry, no tripod)
But this is where the action is
See the row at the back, nobody sat there, all preferring the stands.
"No photos" announcement....
Guru only gets one photographer
Somebody is unhappy
US coach - who is he?
Service judge is important
Howard Bach showing why he never gets a fault serve
The happiest line judge
Who does the announcing? See the face behind the voice. She must be tired being the announcer for the whole day and week.

The toss of the the coin
Into the action
Ma Jin under pressure
Concentrating on game point
And then the court gets vacuuming

i have to say that pictures captured by Anita and Cheung this year has been fantastic. not just technically with proper exposure as well as timing, but also the variety of actions and non-action shots including out-of-court snaps and excellent facial expression.
this is top quality stuff. really appreciate the time and effort!

I like the vacuuming picture. Every time the lady changed direction, the wire had to be flicked over her head :-) to the amusement of many.

vacuuming actually makes a lot of sense. the Yonex mat used are not smooth mats but instead feels more like 30 grit sand paper. it is hard to use a mob on them. over time the feather pieces and dirt do get accumulated.
