Man, that's an insane looking racket. Best looking Li-Ning by a huge margin.

Now, if they could only do something about the price..........and weight (102g net!?!)

I think that's with strings and grip, so rather similar to my N50IIs. That would place it at the rather heavy 3U end, though....seems like a very alluring racket. I'll have to fight hard to keep my hands off that one!

The N50II is actually the oldest 2nd gen model (with the N90II). And I base my decision what racket to get on the "tech" used - there's very little technology in rackets. The carbon is the most important factor, and all professional grade rackets use great carbon. So, base your decision on how the racket feels, not how new or old it is (as long as it's not a Carbonex 8 )

Then j4kie, I assume that you are leaning more towards the N80? or is that just the vibe I'm getting?

I'm not gonna get one, it's probably waaay too expensive. I have two N50IIs, which I barely use anymore - but they're too chipped to fetch a good price, so I can't bring myself to sell them^^
Anyhow, this looks pretty much like the ideal Li Ning racket for me - not as hammer-like as the N90, and more aerodynamic, but not quite as light as a Bravesword. Tempting.

So pretty much, the tech in the N50II doesn't quite compare to the N80? or that you don't like the N50II's?
