Taufik and Simon in MS, Firda and Bella in WS. Linda injured, I guess.

If play normallyl, Nitya/Feinya should get the gold medal. They have beaten all of these pairs in straight sets in the last encounter Duanganong/Kunchala,Shinta/Yao Lei, Vivian/WKW, and Vita/Nadya.

Yes, but it doesn't come with live scores. So one wonders how fast the results would be updated.

My opinion from the most likely to the least likely fields for INA to get a gold :

    1. XD
    2. MD
    3. WD
    4. MS
    5. WS

    3 likely, 4 possible, 5 my wish... :)

In Men Doubles I have to say Goh/Lim (Mas) and Bodin/Maneepong (Tha) are "dark horses" for Gold Medal

but those 2 pairs are in one section with kido/hendra, while bona/ahsan should be relatively easy to go to the final

    .
Let's have some guesses as to whom would win Gold medals.

    My guess:

    * MS: Taufik Hidayat (INA) - I know this guess will surprise a few BCers, who have written him off.

    * WS: Intanon Ratchanok [2] (THA) - It's a very close guess, almost 50-50 for Buranaprasertsuk Porntip [1] (THA) too.

    * MD: Mohammad Ahsan/Bona Septano [1] (INA).

    * WD: Melati Nadya/Marissa Vita [2] (INA) - Homeground support should help.

    * XD: Ahmad Tontowi/Lilyana Natsir [1] (INA) - Just their BWF ranking will frighten others away. :D:D:D

    No LiveScore? :crying::crying::crying:

I will need you BCers to post progressive score; The live-streaming in Melbourne doesn't work well (for me).

INA field Bellaetrix Manuputti instead of Lindaweni Fanetri?

I want to ask to anyone who knows this answer. When was it determined, in the date when entry by name or in the last minute before the individual event be held?

WS should be Porntip vs Inthanon in final.

In MS, if everything is OK, Taufik Hidayat will meet Tanongsak S in semi final again. Will he lost again?
Simon Santoso should be OK to go to Semi Final

In MD, Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan should be aware to Bodin Isara/Jongjit Maneepong and Lim Kim Wah/Goh Wei Shem.
I'm not sure with Mohamad Ahsan's perfomance. :(

WD- no comment. Don't expect too much. Just enjoy the game!!!

    XD
Definitely will be THA vs INA battle.

Good luck to all INA player!!!

Will RCTI/MNC TV broadcast this individual event???
    I hope TVRI will.;)

Wow, 4 out of 5 for INA.
Guesses are not very accurate. You should use predictions.

A guess is just a guess

    .
:D:D:D How can I do predictions when I don't have a crystal ball to look into.

A guess is just a guess. And it is just for fun (Nothing to win or lose).

Interesting matches involving INA players tomorrow:
    WS R16
Bellaetrix Manuputty vs Fu Mingtian [4] - if Bella can beat the fourth-seed, it will raise her stake to claim a place in the National Team next year. Fu has a slight edge.

    MS R16
Mohd Arif Latif vs Simon Santoso [3] - Simon should have no problem progressing to the SF where Nguyen Tien-Minh will probably await him.

The others should breeze through the opening round.

The 2 INA XD pairs should make it to the SF and it will likely be INA vs THA in the SF, although Ong Jian Guo/Chong Sook Chin might cause an upset. The top-seeded Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir NEED TO WIN this title to shore up their crumbling confidence lately.

Meanwhile, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine will have to beat:
QF - Vivian Hoo Kah Mun/Woon Khe Wei
    SF - Duang-Anong Arunkesorn/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul [1]
    F - either Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati [2] or Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari [3] or Savitree Amitrapai/Sapsiree Taerattanachai

if they want to add the SEA Games Individual Gold Medal to the Vietnam Open GP title they won this year.

As for Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan, they also NEED TO WIN the Gold medal to convince us that they are worthy successor to Kido/Hendra. The road to the Final includes: Mak Hee Chun/Ong Soon Hock and Patiphat Chalardchalaem/Nipitphon Phuangphuapech [4]

Meanwhile, in the bottom half, as mentioned above, Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan will not have it easy to reach the Final. They need to beat: Bodin Isara/Maneepong Jongjit (who just beat them on Sunday) and Goh Wei Shem/Lim Khim Wah [3] (who just beat Bona/Ahsan today). Can they survive the onslaughts by the 2 energetic and fast-attacking young pairs?

    My prediction:

MS : Simon Santoso is the strongest candidate i think..:) or Taufik?Nguyen?Daren?
WS : Ratchanok or Porntip or maybe Gu Juan (but i hope Bellaetrix can make a surprise :))
    MD : Kido/Hendra or Bona/Ahsan or Goh/Lim or Bodin/Jongjit
    WD : Nitya/Feinya or Vivian/Woon or Vita/Nadya
    XD : Tontowi/Lilyana for sure :)

Head to head Simon vs NTM is 3-0, Taufik vs NTM is 3 - 1. While Taufik is leading Simon in h2h.
If Taufik not playing bad, he can win.
But h2h is past performance and even though Taufik still leading Tanongsak in h2h, their last meeting Taufik lost easily.

I think PBSI look at the h2h result when deciding to put Simon and Taufik. Because Hayom and Tommy have bad record against NTM

WS is close fight between 4 players, Inthanon, Porntip, Gu Juan and Firda(based on recent encounter). And Bella may give a surprise.

MD : I thought that INA can easily win this but looking at team performance, it may not be that easy.

WD : Nitya/Feinya is playing well and has good record against South East Asian pairs.

XD : The gap is too wide. May even be an All INA final if Rijal/Debby can upset Thai 2nd seed

At most the married men can kill one of the pair but very hard for them to kill two energetic pairs in a row ! :D
