Hi guys! I work for a website called www.gbsport.tv. We stream live events of all different sports from around the world and this weekend we are covering the BWF Hong Kong Open from 9am GMT. So tune in! Cheers, Luke
Outside the UK most of us will have the YouTube live streaming service by the BWF. Of course in Denmark I imagine you are "stuck" with TV2Sport ...
Hi luke the stream is not live today or not even close to being live. In light of this can you please give the schedule/time when the matches will be on tommorrow. cheers
Sorry do not understand. First session?? surely that was on earliest gb sport not start untill 9am gmt. Anyhoo just looking for schedule for gbsport.tv for tommorrow. Thats the WD on now o joy(not live). There are live matches however on at the moment
There is a day and evening session: http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=6ADDD331-4C98-4B84-A2ED-3F0B93881018 The first session was covered and started at 1PM HK time ... But I possibly see what you mean as above it was indicated they would start at 9AM and perhaps delayed streamed it starting at 9? I would call that convenient actually if you managed to avoid spoilers
demlidor can't get on tournament software all day today, you? Was the first session today 1xWD-1xMS-1xWS-1xWD in that order 3 and 1/2 hours worth(thats what i got)? Just wondering seems like to few a matches and doubleing up on bad games(WD) for the telivised part seems strange.
No problems here (perhaps http://www.toernooi.nl/sport/matches.aspx?id=6ADDD331-4C98-4B84-A2ED-3F0B93881018). That was the first session yeah, only 4 because of the w.o. for Cai-Fu in the all-CHN MD matchup . I guess no or too few takers for putting badminton on their tv schedule during prime time to make it worth the cost. Will agree the scheduling could be better for tv but probably not for the audience on location with separate tickets for each session I believe.
Thanks for reply. Yes that makes sense re on location ticket selling wise. Still no joy with tournament software nor that link you provided
Its a pity gbsport dont cover the first 3 days of the SS events, and in this case don't even cover it live . The BWF youtube stream was much better, ...
There "never" is an international feed for the first three days of an SS tournament so how could they? SS is last three days (QF) and SS Premier is last four days (R16) with regards to mandatory broadcast.
I meant first 3 days of main event, disregarding qualifying. They only cover 2 of the 5 days of main draw
BWF have shown r16 and 32 at French/Denmark, for instance here: http://www.youtube.com/badmintonworldtv#p/u/80/et_Q79UYF8U Thye even showed the qualification at dk
