    Hi all,

I'll be in Victoria, BC, Canada during January 15th to 19th (for work). Hoping to do some drop-ins or meet/play with some of forum members on the weeknights :). I'll be staying near Downtown Victoria. Heading back to Vancouver on the 20th.

Did some checking and came across www.badmintonvictoria.com for places to play. I think the courts closest would be Downtown YMCA-YWCA (Monday and Wedsnesday night) and Sir James Douglas School (Tuesday night).

My level is "C" (average to low intermediate).

    Thanks,
    CD.

I am assuming that you don't have a vehicle as the places that plays with feathers are located in Brentwood (Wed) and Cordova Bay (Tues/Thurs) with more competitive players.

Used to live in Victoria but have never tried the Y or Fairfield (Douglas) otherwise Henderson or Commonwealth is okay too.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have a car to use. I just mentioned the places closer to where I'm staying.

If you want more consistent games and feather shuttles, then I would suggest Cordova Bay (Brentwood might be too far away) otherwise the others mentioned are okay.

    Bleh...

I have to mentor a newbie (OJT aka On the Job Training). Have to be social and might not get time to play badminton.

It's snowing pretty bad in Victoria this week to get out and play some badminton. Brought my gear for nothing. :(
