Sundays 2~6pm (2~4hrs) @ School Halls within North/North-East/Central Regions

We are a small group of regular casual players (aged 7~57 averaging 40yrs) with skills ranging from Beginners to Intermediate. Most of us play Mens or Mixed Doubles. We use Tournament Grade Shuttlecocks like SwordFish S101 and SeaLion C101.

We usually play on Sundays between 5 & 8pm (sometimes 5~7pm or 6~8pm) single court in CCs around Central region like Toa Payoh Central/West/South, Cheng San, Thomson, Cairnhill and sometimes as far South-West as Leng Kee. Most of us regulars & irregulars come from all over Singapore: Sembawang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Bedok, Joo Chiat, Bishan, Bt Panjang, Jurong West & Clementi, despite having to meet in the Central region.

Our group came together with the intension of enjoying Fun & Fitness. Apart from weekly Badminton sessions, we had at times organized hikes up Bt Timah or around Macritchie Reservoir. Some of us have been together for the past 10yrs or more.

Over the years our group have grown but have also shrunk; some got married & never came back, some got married but stayed on (with or without spouse). As our group size is not consistent in numbers, we are constantly looking for new players (especially ladies) to join us.

can i join for a few sessions and pay acccordingly ? available for 4 sundays from 25 may to 15 june. can also play on most weekdays nites in between.

I charge the monthly according to calendar month. You just need to pay for June if you wish to play regularly for a month.

I think I forgot to mention in the main post that we have an in-house practice of not charging new comers for their 1st day with us.

thanks for info. i will be there 25 may, but since you expect a big turnout, is it better for a newcomer to be early or turn up for the later part of the session so as not to overcrowd the court ?

Better to come early cause most of my regulars come later and play for only one hour. Look for Clement as he's usually early.

01Jun should have more than sufficient numbers already.

When I first invited people to join my group...

So for 01Jun, I'm expecting 6 from BC + 8 regulars totaling 14 (maybe with 1 beginner). 12 would be an ideal number for 3hrs on a single court. Let me check with them first and then confirm numbers closer to date.

I realize that majority of us are actually Intermediates with a handful of Mid to High Beginners.
