    2011 China Open SSP: Qualification Rounds Tue 22-November

    From the Hong Kong Open SS last week, we now move to Shanghai this week for the China Open SSP.

    Tuesday 22-November is Qualification Day.

    For Schedule of Matches;
    http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=91BC911B-E50D-4FFA-9211-33938FCD4A19

    For Time in Shanghai;

    For BCers wishing to look at the Elimination Draws (to find out who are the players waiting for the qualifiers), here is the link;
    http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/draws.aspx?id=91BC911B-E50D-4FFA-9211-33938FCD4A19

    Previously, I have given links for Live Streaming, but not all countries can share the links. Perhaps some BCers from different countries can post their links that are working for their regions.

    For our BC PAW Game, I believe Sandy is constructing it now. The thread should be coming out soon.

    The return of South-East Asian players

    .
    It's great to find the return of South-East Asian players after they missed the 2011 Hong Kong Open SS to participate in the SEA Games.

    Tao Jiaming/Zhang Nan withdrew from HK SS semi final just a few days ago. I assume Zhang Nan is in top form as he won XD in HK

    As for Tao Jiaming, he is up early at 10am today for his XD qualification round.

    The doctors in China are the best, so I think Jiaming will be at 100% fit.

    :)

    Wong Choong Hann vs Guru
    Don't think the veteran has it in him to beat this attacking youngster... but its always good to see WCH back in tournaments :D

    Fuzzy vs Songphon/Sudket
    Fuzzy should win.

    Btw, what happened to Liew Daren?

    Not an easy match for Rendy/Alfiat to challenge Kim Ki Jung/Baek Choel Sin

    Once again the malaysian camp fails to help LCW shoot down a few bowling pins. Hope WCH will prevail to at least QF. What happen to Liew Darren? He is one of already few dwindling malaysian-hopefuls to carry and illustrate our Malaysian flag's 'Boleh' keyword.

    uncle wong is trailing in 2nd set, 5-11. not enough stamina to cope with fast attacking pace by guru.

    Quite true wonder why a major tournament like this gives such treatment to the qualifiers
