So my favorite local badminton shop Tad's is now carrying Li-Ning rackets. And priced same or below Yonex prices if you can believe that. Currently playing with Yonex VT80 3UG5 and Victor MX80 3UG2. Been thinking about the N90 or N90II with S2 grip. I like head heavy rackets and play singles and doubles.

So what racket should I get???
    Any other Li-Ning suggestions?

    Thanks.
    CD.

I own a Li Ning N90ii and a Victor MX80, and they are similar.
The regular N90 is noticeably more head-heavy.

    Your choice.

I think N90II is more suitable if you play both single & double. N90II already difficult for manuver or smash return. Never try N90.
Maybe N50 is another option. N50 is simillar with N90II, but more head light, (very little bit) flex, more easy to manuver.
Same feel when make big smash,hmmmmm...what can i say : it's look like very easy and the head become very light but boommm :D
With N50 i can smash more rapidly.

The N90II would be similar to your MX80 in terms of balance and stiffness. I think it would be slightly more head heavy and slightly less stiff.
The closest rackets to your voltric 80 would probably be the n50 or the n90. The n50 being slightly less head heavy and less stiff in comparison and the n90 is just a pure head heavy beast.
Although, why change if you have an mx80? It's the perfect racket in my opinion :p

Oh Tad's carry LN's now? What's their range of rackets? Only N series? If you've finalize your choice between N90 and N90-II and you play both singles and doubles than maybe N90-II is better? I have both and I find the N90-II is just a bit quicker than the N90... Personally though I still like the N70 more though... But that's just a personal choice...

If you play doubles more often maybe you can try N50 or N50 II. Get N50 if you want better defense , whileN50 II for better smashing power. If you play singles more often, N55 is also not bad.

    Thanks for the suggestion. :)

    Thanks for the advice. :)

    I'll take a closer look at the N50. :)

    Cuz I want a Li-Ning racket :p

Yep...called them yesterday morning. They have a range of rackets. Over the phone I was quoted the N90 going for $180 (everything included...not sure if tax is included). The price seems a bit low when compared to some online retailers but I trust Tads. I'll post pics of my purchase so everyone can judge. I'll let you know what exactly they have once I pay them a visit (most likely this morning...they open at 10am) :D.

Well...I tend to play singles with my friend and hope to play competitive doubles in the future (once I level up my skills...and find a doubles group to play with). I'll keep the N55 in mind. :)

I was about to suggest you in contract with "Jasonvan" as I know he has a collection of LN racquets, since he already surface on this thread; you may as well ask if you could drop by one of his playing section to try out some of them. It certainly beats spending $180 and find out that wasn't the right racquet for you.

Jasonvan, you still plays the Friday night C1 section?

Originally I was looking for the N90. But as I got to Tads they only had N33II, N50II, N77II, N90II, F360, F380, and F390. Apparently N55II sold out quickly. Not sure if they are gonna get first generation rackets.

    So I picked up N90II. :D Got it strung up with BG85 @ 27lbs.
Also picked up Victor Champion No. 1 shuttles to try out.

I'm looking forward to reading your playing experience. I also own an N90II and an VT80 and I just feel as if the N90II lacks a bit of head-heaviness for me, I can't quite generate the same power. Maybe it's too stiff, I don' really know. It cuts much faster through the air though and therefore it's more manoeuvrable and less "sluggish" (although not much).

OK...bank is now closed. No more rackets for this year. Just have to wait a month and a half until next year. :D
