Need an upgrade to AT900P? Should I go for VT80 or NR700 or even look at LN N90?

I play doubles and am hard hitter. I am currently using AT900P for almost 3 years and am very happy with it. I would prefer light rackets which have good smashing power. I am confused about VT80 (read good reviews about it) vs NR700 (new kid on the block but is it better than VT80?) vs Li-Ning N90 (someone told me is the best racket that LN has produced for doubles). I also heard VT70 is good doubles racket. Can someone who has played with these rackets please advice?

If you're very happy with the AT900P why switch? It should still be widely available, I would just pick up a an extra one rather than making a switch for the sake of making a switch.

I wanted slightly lighter racket with latest technology so was looking at VT80 as an option.

The whole "latest technology" thing's just a craze
I have all the mentioned rackets VT80,VT70,LN90, and AT900P
They all play quite similarly with the whole head heave solid feel.
My favourite out of them all is tied between VT80,AT900P
The power you get out of it is simply amazing

Also, there isn't much of a "doubles" or "singles" racket
you have lee chong wei who's a single's player and mogensen who's a doubles player who both use the VT80. not much point limiting a racket's ability to only play one discipline

I think you have spelt out what is was thinking. Since I had the AT900P I wanted to go for VT80 to get the best of both the choices. I am also told that new nanoray 700RP is new tech but more preferable for singles. As of now my choice is in favor of VT80, unless challenged by someone else. Thx.

Can't go wrong with either of them if you like head heavy rackets

Well, if you want max power, I would still recommend the AT700. It's the most powerful out of all those choices in my hands. My partner had an AT900P and complained the VT80 was too heavy and at the same time I find it too light. It's all preference.

he's a big tall strong man
and 3U is pretty much the most popular weight
    I would believe so
    unless you can prove otherwise

As a proud owner of a VT70, and a hard hitting doubles player, I can safely say that the VT70 is one of the best doubles racket that I have ever used. Once held, it feels like your best friend. The clears and smashes are much more powerful, with a more crisp sound for intimidation. It also has superior control for defence. LONG LIVE VT70!!!

Wha? Neither Boe nor Mogensen use the VT80. Boe is back on the AT900P and Mog uses the VT70.

At one point both Boe and Mo were using it.
