How to tell if a Yonex String is Genuine?

    Hi,
    I am wondering how to tell from a good counterfeit yonext strings since there are so many on Ebay.
    Is there a good link that I can refer to?

    not sure but i noticed that if buy at shop in malaysia, should come with Sunrise hologram sticker for SP coded.....other than that, one must open the packet and test the string imo.

    you really need to A/B compare the package with a known good one.

    for example, last year we managed to find some fake NBG95 from China. the packaging is obviously "copied" from a real one, the fonts are blurry, the actual plastic packaging are crooked.

    other than that, it will be difficult to tell.

    the best way is buy from someone i trust

    if not dun buy n hence no need re-string anymore.

    well, 3 fake areas u can easily detect

    1)poor or blur printing on the string
    2)fake string are not smooth but coarse surface
    3)string not follow to its define diameter.

    Keep a used Genuine packaging for comparison. Buy from a authorised retailer? Prints on string can be easily scraped off with fingernails in fake strings. Good luck. Most strings on eBay aren't wht you think they are.

    Thank you but latest rumour says that the fakes r reusing original YY packagings. How do we spot that? Almost impossible, so I am staying away from Yonexes.
