Hi,I am sorry if this have been asked before,I am looking for asics badminton specific shoes. Can I know what are the models?? Wanted to get mizuno badminton specific shoes over here in sg but the official distributor in sg only carries the wave fang xt,which is kinda plain in color,so am looking at asics alternative. Thanks
You might wanna search for "asics" in: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...Show-us-your-badminton-shoes!?highlight=asics http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...t-badminton-shoes-do-YOU-wear?highlight=asics Or maybe the Asics JP site.
been searching this forum this model and couldn't find any. i just want to ask if anyone have experience wearing this asics shoes. saw this model in a shop in B.B.Bangi and the rrp is RM199. asked the salesperson how much selling and he said RM160. so what do you badminton experts says about this asics rote rivre fl4 shoes ? red / white neon green / blue
That it's a tennis shoe . Well let me correct that , the bottom looked like a tennis shoe due to the colour (and grooves). The only model that comes as close as being a badminton specific is the Blade. Asics don't do "badminton specific" ... But if you look around at pro's wearing Asics they use all kinds of different models so you just have to try them out, Blade was definitely one of, if not the, most popular model before.
Both shoes above is certainly not tennis shoes, they can be use for squash or badminton. And Asics do make badminton shoes, http://www.asics.co.jp/products/badminton/A You can go to asics Japan website to search for it if you could read japanese
Did you miss the "let me correct myself" part ? And yes those are the Blade's and they are not marketed as "badminton" shoes in Europe and the US so that makes them multipurpose . Likewise the Adidas that is marketed as "badminton" shoe in Japan is marketed as handball shoe in Europe ... I don't know what kind of "badminton" shoes those hightops are supposed to be but they are usually in the volleyball section.
What do you think about the asics gel domain 2? http://www.asicsamerica.com/footwear/volleyball-shoes/gel-domain-2-e052y-womens/
these asics gel blast 4 shoes look nice...too bad theyre pricey -.- $150 ish those red ones were hard to find btw. found it on a thai forum lol
I have the men's version and it's great. great cushioning, great support, great quality, really comfortable, and extra armor where your toe drags definitely adds to durability. Only gripe is the front part of the shoe (toes) isn't as tight as most other shoes I use to wear. That may be good or bad depending on personal preference.
that shoe can be used for badminton... its a replacement model for spira range last time... i'm planning to get the striking green one. this is more of a entry level for asics model. if want a better then go for gel rocket....
According to Asics, the Asics Gel Blade 3 or Gel Progressive are specially made for fast indoor racket sports (badminton and squash). Gel Blade 3 Gel Progressive There are some forum topics about them: Gel Progressive Gel Blade 3 - Just bought it Gel Blade 3 vs Gel Blast 4 Currently I'm playing with the Gel Blade 3 and I'm loving them! They feel light, flexible, great shock absorption at the heel base and excellent for rapid movements. The sole at the front of the shoe is a bit thinner; it's like I'm having more 'feeling/contact' with the floor and the grip is excellent. In all honesty, they are by far the best badminton shoes I've ever had (and I had my fair share with Yonex, Mizuno and Forza). Every time it was a struggle to find the perfect badminton shoe and now I can say I've found them with the Gel Blade 3, although I won't say it's suitable for everyone. Asics is an excellent brand with lots of incredible shoes and the ones shown in this thread are great as well (it's a matter of preference and what suits you best). My next pair of shoes will definitely be the Blade 3. I'm not really fond of the colors (the one shown above is the latest model), but it's the quality that matters to me.
Yes, the old model Gel Beyond, women's version ... (this is probably the men's version released at the same time http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...-White-Black-color)-Badminton-Shoe-used-ONCE) http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...now-a-shoe-called-Asics-Gel-Beyond-B002N-H201
my experience...been using Asics shoes for quite sometime...from a non-gel to double gel..really worth investing..
Try Asic Gel Blade 3. I just bought early March. So far, I am very satisfy. I want Gel Blast or Gel Beyond but both shoes are not in my budget range
