    Default oops

Took an angry swipe at a shuttle on the half volley. Time for ZM65 sooner than I thought

Was going so well, hitting winning smashes off high singles serve. Zero arm pain. Thanks to Fu Haifeng teaching me to smash on YouTube.

I can't get on with my spare racket now, so I'm looking at buying another. Do I get another mx60, a brave sword for better defense/net play due to the speed, or a mx80 for more attacking? Or neither! Another, cheaper Victor just as a spare. I want a proper go with a friend's yehlex yk2000 but I'm definitely sticking with 675mm long rackets now.

Just get another MX60, if you're serious about improving your game, or if you play competition. If you don't and just wanna have fun trying new rackets, then get whatever.

The MX80 is not a 'more' attacking racket, it's just a stiffer version of the 60. Depending on you, it could be a 'less' attacking racket and put you in the hurt box.

So anyway, if you're trying rackets just for fun, it might be worth looking at the Thruster TK8000.

    To people with the MX60s,
Would you guys mind posting the weight of the 4U or 3U models that you have? I just want to see what's the weight variation between 3U and 4U like since I've heard that the Meteor series are heavier than stated... I've been using a 3U BS09 so I'm just looking for a meatier version of it with a slightly heavier head...

All my Meteors (6 in total, 60/70/80) have either been 88 or 87g, dry. (Actual measurements from my records)

Seconded. I use electrical tape on my spares. My 3u was 86g with factory grip and no string.

Good point tiger. I forgot about the thruster too.

Has anyone else seen string fray like this? It was in or around the 4 o'clock shared hole. Sharp grommits? My stringer smoothed them anyway.

haven't seen anything like that on ~3-5 restrings. maybe it was nicked when pushing the second string through with an awl or something?

It,s been 2 months i didn't play on my mx60 as it's previous string got off after a 3 month. Today, I'm gonna go to string up again with the Mmoa Pro Power 68 at 27 lbs. Hope, it will suit me much better than the ns660Ti at 26 lbs. Cheers

After being distracted by building up the grip I didn't notice how far out my BP was. I've just put 1g of electrical tape on the top half of the frame to restore it. Feels much better now

Disagree, but that's for another topic. Either way I prefer it with a bit of tape.

Looks better with more black too (inb4 amleto's favorite colour is yellow)

Electrical tape doesn't stick particularly well. Athletic strapping tape is better.

Is it the camera or the lighting problem? Why the MX60 yellow looks so pale on post 749 & 762?
