    Hi,

I own a Yonex Voltric 80 and a Yonex Isometric Zeta. I found that the Isometric Zeta is slightly more head heavy as compared to the Voltric 80. After I measured the balance points, it was 296mm with the Voltric 80 and 305mm with the Isometric Zeta. Anyone can comment on this? Thought that Voltric 80 is one of the most head heavy rackets...

Did you really compare both in terms of condition (same string and same grip)?
The bp of my Iso Z is 300mm with NBG95 and thin towel grip direct on wood.
It is possible that you get two extremes which can be due production.
You got one of the head heaviest Iso Zs and one of the head lightest Voltric 80.
Don't think too much about specs. You can modify your Voltric with a bit lead tape.
AT 700 must be a bit head heavier than Voltric 80.

Iso Zeta strung with BG 66 and with a replacement grip on wood.
Voltric 80 strung with BG 66UM with overgrip over the original yonex grip.

Would it make that much difference? Thanks :)

Yes, more weight at the handle will lower your balance point. One overgrip can move your balance point about 5 to 10 mm towards the handle. Your replacement grip on the Iso Z could be lower density. So it could be lighter than the Yonex leather grip.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for enlightening me. Was afraid I bought an abnormal VT 80, so to speak.

VT 80. If the VT 80 didn't play better than the low end Iso Zeta, I'll be very surprised xD
