Hey guys, I can't decide on which racket to get :confused: I'm a female doubles player than occasionally plays singles, and during doubles I am usually aggressive. I currently use the Arc zs to play doubles and N90II for singles, although the N90II feels a bit slow. Any reviews/comparisons would be nice guys :3 thanks for the help! :D:D:D:D

switching from z slash to n90 i'm not surprised you think it's slow. The only racket that can match the speed of the z slash is either something headlight/even balance or the voltrics.

I've tried the voltric 80, and I don't really like the way it feels, not really solid on impact :/

maybe you should try Nanoray RP700 or NS9900 for doubles.

I have tried both the N90II and N55II. You may find the N55II even slower if you find the N90II slow. Just my two cents.

The N55II is slower than the N90II? I thought the N55II is more headlight that the N90II, which means it would be easier to maneuver.

Hahaha, I have considered it, but the Li Ning rackets seem to be really good, and I was tempted to try another one :p

I have both of those rackets and I don't think the N55-II is slower than the N90-II... It's quite a bit faster...

I have N55II. It's same as my MX80 and Arc Z, slightly head heavy IMO.

Thanks for all the replies! I am still stumped on which one to get though. How does the N55II compare to the N50I in terms of control, power, and speed? Also, which one suits doubles/singles more? thanks~

if you think VT80 is not solid on impact then you'd wanna try SW35. Nice and solid, great for doubles and you can use it for singles too :D

N55-II has a dynamic flex due to the conic shaft and slightly head heavier than N50. I'd say quicker and more powerful too but that depends on your muscle structure :)

Hehe I like your name xD I used to be pretty weak, but after working out a bit I can use rackets like the AT900P decently :3 I don't like the racket but I can still use it xD In your opinion, do you like the N50 or the N55iI more? :OO

You should ask twobeers, I think he might have experience with both of these rackets as I don't have the N50 first gen so can't really give you an opinion on it... I did restring my N55-II so I might give it a try when I play next...

I have had them both before for a while , n i also have Arc Z , personally i prefer the N50 over the N55II anytime. N50 clears effortlessly , if i have to use 80% of my strength to clear with Arc Z n N50 under same grip n string setup , Arc Z will reach the back tramline , N50 will be out at least by one feet. shaft stiffness of N50 is near Arc Z. But smashing wise , i find the Arc Z excels in smashing feel. The feedback is so much better. However for N55II , maybe its the shape of the frame , it never felt right in any shots i make. The only think i like about N55II , is the cosmetics.
If u like Arc Z , N50 is ur best choice.
    Thanks :D

N50II - overall weight slightly heavier than N50
    N50 - feel more stiff than N50II
N50II is more headlight than N50
N50II is faster as compared to N50
N50II power is more or less the same N50

Based on these you can decide which to choose... Both these rackets are built for doubles...
