We have all seen this symbol [below] stamped on Yonex rackets and on packets of their Nanogy range of strings. I've seen the exact same logo / design i.e. the small cluster of hexagons, on other 'nano' rackets, namely from 'clone' brand such as Fleet, Apacs and Ashaway. In fact, the 2nd picture is taken from my Ashaway Nano Rally racket. My question is: Is this symbol here a breach of intellectual property? Or, in other words, does it belong to YY? I am not reffering to the obvious counterfeit Yonex rackets sold on eBay, which is clearly wrong, but rather, legitmate rackets such as my Nano Rally. Even the font looks identical.
Most companies have a slew of petty little 'sub-logos' for their technology (real or otherwise) and none of them are that pivotal that any one of them would bother to throw lawyers at.
