    Are you saying his own country and international badminton community suddenly forgets he is a world reknown badminton player and expect less of him because he is using non signature racket?

    It is more likely Victor want to sell their new racket so are asking him to use it. (whether it is a modified version or not.)
    Why not? Arrogance breeds contempt doesnt it? Just look at whats happened to KKK and TBH.

    Heresy! Don't even mention their names in this thread.

    Regardless of whether LYD is using the racket or not it's still a very good racket and players should give it a try.

    Recently, I traded my yonex racket for 1st gen Brave Sword Lyd 4U. Initially, it was strung with Apacs stern 9 (23lbs). After using it for three to four games, I mishit and break the string. However, I noticed that there was a scratch/cut on the frame. So far, I have never clashed with any racket. Do any one of you faced the same scratch?

    The scratch is located on the 10 o clock of the racket.

    In my experience with 4 first LYDs to date..The paint job isn't as durable as the usual brave swords honestly..chips easier than all my other brave swords except the first gen ones.

    It looks like a simple mishit chip. I have a couple on mine as well =/

    Hey there, thanks for you reply. The paint work's durability is much worse than mx series. A while ago, my stringer told me that Lyd racket frame is aerodynamic and sharp especially at its edges of the frame. As such, the thin bravesword's racket sticker will peel off easily.

    I was wondering if anyone's got a comparison between the old and new "N" LYD? I'm especially interested in the head weight/swing weight and the shaft stiffness compared to Arc11.

    In short, badminton rackets will not get seized unless you hide coke in the handles.
    Well said! Paul, that was very unethical to mislead people like that!

    @phaaam
    The new LYD that I felt and swung was much head heavier than Arc11. BP 300 vs 293mm.
    Stiffness wise feels the same on bending with hand, but on swinging, LYD feels flexier and whippier due to the higher head wt.

    Thanks for the info visor! It completely falls in line with what I've experienced. I actually sold both my Arc11 and BSLYDN this year haha. I think one reason I never got used to either of them was because I didn't ever put my favourite string on them (was trying out a lot of new strings), so it didn't turn out well in the end. I only have my AT900Ts left, really wish I could have played in Van with my current setup :P Also I feel the BSLYD was actually stiffer than my AT900Ts. And but less stiff than the XP70 for sure.
