    I hope it's not a misinformation. Because a 4U would really s*ck... :P

Well then. My preorder will be placed this week for sure

Thanks for the link. Are you the shop owner of this website?

I can confirm that G2 is a little bit too small. But I think this doesn't matter because the grips are customizable thanks to grips, which are available in different thickness?

Im only a badminton addict, and have an asian name, meanwhile the owner of the shop has a strange name http://www.badminton-shop-jena.de/catalog/impressum.php (for me, not sure Jauk is a european last name or not, but Steffi is sure a lady)

Me G2 is suited, but for the most big tall people in my club it is very small, they always use original grip plus another thicker grip (tennis grip).

Here is another site with the same price http://www.ssv007.de/product_info.php/products_id/3925, and they wrote that the delivery time is only 3-4 days. But will they ship to SUI ?

Oh, thanks! I have to ask. I'm waiting for a response now. I'll let you know that.
G3 would be better I think.

Actually I have an Arcsaber10 with G4 (which is like Victor's G3) with a 0.70mm Overgrip. And it matches very well to my hand.

    btw: I'm asian too

Just picked up a LYD today, it's a beauty but have to settle for a 4U instead of my regular 3U as with all other Victors that I had. At 4U it's already 87.8g dry, the 3U weighs 90g. I've gotten used to 87~88g all along, thus dare not take up the 3U... But from Victor Sports Taiwan site => 3U(85~89.9g) / 4U(80~84.9g)

did you weigh with or without the plastic wrap on the handle?

that plastic wrap weighs nearly 2grams!

Yes, it was weighed with the handle wrap. But it is from the same shop, same weighing machine and same with handle wraps for all my past 3U Victors, they weighed 87~89g dry. I always make it a point to measure new purchases so that I know I'll be using similar weighted rackets.

Btw, heard from the shop's boss, that there was another guy just bought his LYD last 2 days also had similar experience, also ended up choosing a 4U over his regular 3U because of LYD's heavier 3U weight. Perhaps if that bro happens to read this thread too could share his views.

since the wrap is around 2g, then your previous 3U are also on-spec, leaning to the lighter end of the range.

since this is a LYD specific racket, it could be the case that it was designed to be at the higher end of the range.

I've found that the vast majority of my Victors have been in the 85-87g gross weight, with a SW3150 being the exception at 89g. They've all been TW coded, but from different batches and/or factories as denoted by the letter designation after the TW.

It almost seems like Victor aims for 85g, and then QC's them into 3U or 4U.

85g is pretty much the sweetspot for me for most designs

If I didn't read wrongly, those few online retail sites suggested by bros earlier within this thread have specs 93g as it's weight, not sure if they mean dry or wet.

This 1st time I've dropped down to a 4U, hope it'll be ok, haven't had chance to play with it yet! Only concern is whether it'll become too light for smashing, esp. with BS characteristics...

Okay so I had a fondle of a BSLYD just now. It feels solid and stiff like a SW35 or BS10, and marginally head heavy. The head shape is just a fraction shorter than a regular Bravesword, with a slightly longer shaft as a consequence. Head width is the same. Paint is super nice! Anyone who likes the BS10 or SW35 should give it a swing I reckon...super solid and quick feeling.....no idea whether to get one of these or see what the BS15 swings like......
