i am a novice player. i used to play for 4 months with a carbonex 7000plus. it got damaged beyod repairs. now i have the following choices. which one should i buy??
    1. muscle power 29
    2. nanoray 20
    3. nanoray 80
    4. nanoray 100
i play both doubles and singles. i like doing smashes. i am not a strong guy (rather weak)
ps - nanoray 100 myt not be available so if you choose nanoray 100 as the first choice then also give a second choice. please give options for both singles and doubles. thank you :)

Muscle power and the nanospeed/Nanoray series are total different series of rackets all together.

You should go down the the shops and have a feel of the rackets and make your choice from there.

If you want something from a newer range, then it's the nanoRAY series.

sorry no body answered you in time. I'd suggest nanoray 80 though. Its pretty good and will help you with your smashes since its medium to stiff.

how's the ti3 going for you?

thats a very complex question. but the simple answer is for beginners = flexible shaft will give you more power to smash.

once you get stronger and your technique gets better, you can load more energy in the shaft to bend it to smash. a flexible racket will reach its limit faster than a stiff racket.

below is a picture of a lee yang dae "bending it like beckam" using a medium racket. i have a pic of JJS doing that to his extra stiff racket too :p

ok.. that was an awesome pic.. never thought that the racquet could bend that much. but do you know anything about ti3? i read saw in a graph that ti 2 and ti 4 are both defensive racquets. is ti3 also defensive?

well, i even havent seen a ti3 only ti5 and 10. but yes, ti3 is a defensive racket, flexible and headlight. but it depends how you play with it.

whats lyt head racket? i'll assume light head. an offensive light head racket you should look for stiffer rackets like the nanoseries 850 or 990 which are really repulsive and maybe nanoray 80 but its not very good for singles.

its depends on your preference you see. i like a medium flex and heavy head racket. i can defend with it pretty well even while playing doubles and while some people prefer flexible head light rackets and still smash pretty hard.
