    Default difference in tension between mains and crosses

    When stringing a badminton racket, is it really recommended that the tension applied in the mains and crosses differ by about 2 lbs.? I read this somewhere but I forgot which of the strings should be higher/lower.I'm about to go to a local sports shop and let them string my new nano speed 300 with zymax 62 at 22 lbs. so I want to confirm about this.Thanks for the help

    my preference is not to add any tension on cross
    i preference 1 uniform tension

    always add ~2lbs for cross.

    I think it really depends on the machine setup. However, 2lbs (or 10%) extra for cross is true for most of the current machines, I believe.

    Just make sure get a trust worthy stringer, and trust what s/he suggest.
