In fact, everybody who has an interest in a FS/WTB transaction and wanting to do that over the internet should be reminded that such a trade is at your own risk. There are no guarantees on these private trades and a "see before you buy" policy is not possible on trades across different countries. *Lack of pictures and lack of stated location of buyer/seller fall behind acceptable standards so one should treat such sales with caution.* (the presence of photos/stated location does not necessarily mean a 100% legitimate transaction either) There have been reports on ebay and on badmintonforum.com of some dishonest sellers. None of these reports can be confirmed or refuted with any certainty. So the advice from badmintonforum.com is to be careful about what you are doing. Thankyou for your attention
another story Many years ago, whilst still a student, I witnessed a selling trick. People were invited to an auction in a closed room. They were invited to bid for a box with a 'really nice prize' inside. The auctioneer was a smooth talking person who didn't let anybody else talk. Some person put a bid up and got the box. Sure enough, inside, there was a nice prize. Next auction up, and there was another box. Unfortunately, there was a not so nice prize. This went on a couple of times, with more boxes and nice prizes. After that, the auctioneer invited people to stay to bid for other boxes. The audience was assured there would be more nice prizes. In order to stay, the person in the audience would have to pay an amount of money (5 British pounds). Those who left were not allowed back into the room. I remember managing to stay (without paying!) and all the remaining boxes were auctioned. When the owners got the boxes, practically worthless objects were inside. The guys running the show had already disappeared quickly. I leave readers to draw their own conclusions.
