You are missing the point here.
At the level the pros play, the racket is miniscule in comparison to mental + physical stamina and skill set.
And by most of us here means BC. Not the MO or any professional competition.

I wouldn't say miniscule, but what's right - they (top 10) could probably beat anyone not in the top 50 with any racket because they have such an overwhelming advantage concerning the ability to read the game and where to place the shuttle....also, the best racket and the best technique can't help you if you can't get to the shuttle, so most of us could probably only play 1 or 2 shots before they are outplayed...

If I had a sponsor, access to every racket from that sponsor's catalogue, and the freedom to test every single one to exhaustion, you can bet your arse I'd do it.

On a good day, LCW may gain 1-2% advantage from a racquet change. On other days, it makes no difference at all since he is at the very top 1-2 percentile of the badminton professionals already on any given day!

Ultimately, the company's sole purpose is for him to market their most up-to-date racquets and gears.

Agreed!! Although - if you've been sponsored for pretty much your whole life, the excitement wears off, I hear....at least those in my club who have been are okay with any racket as long as it's free
