    Hey Guys,

I play once to twice a week, with lower end Yonex racquets. I want to upgrade to a newer racket and was looking at the Yonex ArcSaber 10.

I have played mostly singles, with a precison game, drop shots, clears, but I want more power in my game.

I want to know if this racquet is good for both singles and doubles as I do play both.

Arc 10 is a good all round racket, it works for single & double well..Perhaps you could try it out before buying it..If you find arc 10 to be head heavy, you could consider Arc 7 or Arc 9..

Hi, I used an ARC10 for many years and have just recently bought a Li Ning N55 for £99.99 - so cheaper for me, it has a similar feel, but it is slightly more head heavy to give a bit more power. The ARC10 is good but it's too stiff for me to be hitting hard after a couple of hours.

exactly, i felt the 10 works very well, just enough maneuverability for defence with the tech and stiffness for solid smashed when you unleash those.
the only thing to check would be the balance, its head heavy-er

I use it for both singles and doubles but I feel the power is lacking compared to more head heavy rackets but if you're planning on playing doubles it's probably worth the trade off

If you feel that Arc 10 is a little bit head heavy.. You might try Arc 7, it is a great all rounder as well with its head being lighter than Arc 10.

    ArcSaber 10?? FORGET ABOUT IT

Get an ArcSaber 8DX if you want the stiffness
    (Color looks good)

    OR

Get an ArcSaber 5DX if you want a bit above medium in stiffness
(I do not like the chrome-like Orange or Magenta finish because it is too flashy in my opinion)

as above arc 8dx is the upgrade to arc 10 and arc 5dx is the upgrade to arc 7.

between the 4, i feel arc 8dx is better for precision game and has more power.

other brand's you could try Lining's N55-II or Victor BS-11

all are good all rounder that you can use for doubles or singles, a touch of weigth in the head for power.

Voltric 60 and Voltric 70 is pretty good too.

I have a VT-70 and seems to be EXTREMEly powerful, and defensive is pretty solid as well.
