Out of the 3 representatives, we could have all three progressing or all three losing today. Realistically, I expect only 1 to go through.

MS QF
Du Pengyu vs Simon Santoso [8] - this is an excellent chance for Simon to repeat his performance last year. But I am not sure what's his physical condition is right now (i.e. still injured or not). If he's fit, he might just beat Du.

WD QF
Kim Min Jung/Ha Jung Eun [4] vs Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii [8] - the good news is Mel/Grace fulfill their seeding and actually add more pts to their Olympics qualification (since they reached only R16 last year). They could beat the Korean pair, but, I think the KOR pair has a slight edge.

Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [4] vs Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun - Towi/Butet lost in the previous encounter, despite having a 3-0 lead over the Korean pair. This time, it's also hard since the Korean pair is playing at home with the patriotic support from the line-judge. Still, the INA pair is expected to fulfill their seeding!
