Is the K TC7 less head-heavy than the VT 80 and is it recommended for beginner/intermediate players?

Ge the F9 if you're a beginner.

I only have a bslyd so can only compare with it
Adjustment - strung bg66um 26lb, 2x layer ac102ex on naked grip, 315bp.
pros - Able to generate much more smash power compared to my bslyd, more user friendly.
cons - Drastically reduce maneuverability(perhaps i might not have got use to it since i uses a 295bp and more aerodynamic bslyd)

Anyone know if the C7 is more head heavy than the Voltric 70 and/or Voltric 5?

Now that I have both MX60 and C7 on hand, I can definitely say that MX60 is stiffer than C7...

C7, Mid Stiff, at least not too stiff, head heavy is also balance or slightly heavy in between. Holding the racquet you can feel that it is similar to VT60.
I double check a few pieces of C7, not the limited version as never compare that, the C7 has very good quality for the grommet compared to Yonex and Victor, probably they are still new while many years ago Victor are good quality too.
Worth to buy this racquet to have a try and the most important is quite cheap or should say reasonable price as it is only around 700-800RMB while shop in China Badminton Shop.

anybody else think the C7 sounds quite different (faster) when you swing it compare it to other racquets?

It is not exactly faster, as I think Victor BS series should swing faster, eventhough I never owned one... it is different, more springy and whippy.
Also, if I swing backhand, towards the contact point where the racket should be vertical, I can feel the head having some different feeling, like cutting through the air efficiently... which I think due to the energy bow presence in C7

hmm, not sure it's faster, definately SOUNDS faster than the BS09 i have. Got to say i struggle with my C7, the whole head heaviness and reasonably flexible shaft makes the racquet feel very laggy to me when doing taps etc. Maybe it's cos the grip is too small.

Racquet that are mid flex + head heavy will give u that feeling.
Btw FYI, i own bslyd and used c7 before. In term of speed in maneuver, bs lyd beat c7 hands down. BS series are good for drives, net kills, tap smash, slice, competitive doubles gameplay.
C7? Hard smashes using body strength. Shoots like a cannon. nuf said.

I got a C7...bought from AJ in Puchong @ RM480.Say its a fast racket though not as fast as nanospeed series.Good in control but just lacking in smash power as compared to N90 II.Defense in quite ok and feels quite light...My second to-go racket

If I'm a mixed doubles male player, is it better to use the F9 or the C7? I'm thinking the F9 but still making sure.

That depends on your playing style. I just got the C7 and F9 Ltd yesterday and tried them out...
F9 - Light as a feather, andsmashes are ridiculously fast. However, clears to the back of the court requires some effort. And dont defend too much with this racket as you can be easily punished if your return is not powerful enough.
C7 - This thing is abeauty. If you prefer accuracy, the C7 is the better choice. Smashes are not as fast as the F9, but it has more "oomph". And netplay is deliciously good.
