Well I signed up and I'm playing doubles with my freind. Hey BRL, did u goto George Brown last nite? Cuz I went.

There will only be 6 doubles courts in use on Saturday. 8 Singles Courts on Friday...

Tight, but it all works out so that you'll get at least 3-4 games out of it for each draw!

Another quick update, the Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles draws area already FULL as of early this afternoon, and registration only started last night!

You should receive an e-mail some time in the near future to find out if you've made it into the tournament or not...

I made it as far as the eatons centre... and kinda stayed there.

Is this event open (free) for public spectators? I'd like to come and watch some matches.

If anyone here will compete, let me know the colors of your clothes (or your name by PM). I'll cheer for you

(the spectator's style, not the cheerleader's style though

Hey Tammy,

The event is definitely open to the public and free for spectators! I think I'll keep my identity hidden so I don't embarass myself.

For those who didn't make it into the draw, I'm really sorry and I hope that you'll try to register earlier next time. I'll have more direct involvement with the club next term so we'll look at getting a larger facility and more time so that we can run a BIG tournament.

FYI, mixed doubles filled up in less than an hour, men's double filled up before noon of the same day (not sure of exact time). All other draws filled up pretty quickly except for Ladies' Singles.
