    Thumbs down The 2012 New Zealand Open Grand Prix has now been cancelled

    .
    Usually the Australian and the New Zealand Opens are held one week after another.

    I have been informed that the 2012 New Zealand Open Grand Prix (part of the Oceania Circuit) has now been cancelled.

    The event was originally scheduled to run from March 26-31, the week prior to our 2012 Yonex Australian Open Grand Prix Gold event in Sydney.

    This could mean that fewer players could be attracted to come down-under to our Oceania Tournament Circuit this year.

    that's correct. this is being listed as CANCELLED in the BWF calendar, and thus why this section don't have the NZ Open in its name..
