The 2012 New Zealand Open Grand Prix has now been cancelled

    Usually the Australian and the New Zealand Opens are held one week after another.

    I have been informed that the 2012 New Zealand Open Grand Prix (part of the Oceania Circuit) has now been cancelled.

    The event was originally scheduled to run from March 26-31, the week prior to our 2012 Yonex Australian Open Grand Prix Gold event in Sydney.

    This could mean that fewer players could be attracted to come down-under to our Oceania Tournament Circuit this year. :eek::eek::eek:

    that's correct. this is being listed as CANCELLED in the BWF calendar, and thus why this section don't have the NZ Open in its name..
