Hi, i also live in Calgary, AT700 and 500 will be available at the store What's Your Racket? on July 22nd, apparently it takes a long time to get through customs and its been delayed a lot because thats what the owner told me. It is 285 dollars canadian plus GST.
You could also try phoning them, they might come in early he said. I forgot their num so you can look for it in the phone book
Wow, you guys do got some bloodsuckers in Calgary. The yonex rep quoted me $210 plus tax. Maybe you guys should do some shopping...
Well, the store im talking is like the only store i know of other than the private clubs in Calgary which sells these racquets, sorry if im wrong but thats all im aware of. Yes they are very expensive indeed.
Does the winter club or glencoe have the AT700? and would it be cheaper if i buy it from winter club or glencoe club?
Dunno is Glencoe or Winter have AT yet. At WC they cost more than Whats your Racket but if you are a member you get a 10 or 20% discount and if they are having a sale on badminton rackets thats an additional 10 or 20% discount so you save a huge amount if you buy at the right time. Not sure about glencoe only been there once.
... Hmm... i think edmonton's main racquet store, the sweet spot, will be selling them in a couple weeks for.... between 200 and 250, and the 500 for slightly less than 200. I'd say the 700 would be comparable in price with mp's 99 and 100's, and the 500 to like a ti 7.
$200 is not possible. But $210 plus tax is possible. How do I know? Because they Yonex representive was telling me to buy it. The AT700 can come in either 4U or 3U are YES they are CD versions.
Winter or Glencoe if you a member. Otherwise not from an actual store i dont think. I have a broken one you could have
At 700 and 500 are now in for CD distribution. All first deliveries to Canadian retailers have now gone out. What's Your Raquet, Winter Club, Glencoe in Calgary now have them. Sweetspot and Royal Glenora in Edmonton as well. Check them individually for prices.
