Which 1 better? Asics Blast 4 or Blade 3

Hi BC'ers

I want to buy new shoes today. I want to ask your guys opinion on which asics model is better? Is it blast 4 or blade 3? i only play double twice a week. FYI i called AJ and racquet zone puchong they are selling blast 4 for RM320 and blade 3 for RM280.00. Its only RM40.00 different.

Blade 3 and blast 4 is totally different model bro. its not like i ask to compare blade 2 with blade 3. read carefully.

if you need extra lateral support, go for the blast 4. that is the only difference i see with those model....other than design, color which is all up to you.

either way, you will have a great shoe =)

Yes, I finally decided to buy blade 3 at etako pertama complex. Its also recommended by the shop owner cos he said this 1 is better for fast movement in court. Thanks for all your views guys!

I'm looking for the Blade 4, due in summer time. Blast 4 is yet released over here in the UK but have seen the pictures. Between them I'll choose which one offers better cushioning and then better looking.

Gel blade 4 is not out yet, so can't compare.

Sorry friend, have not tried both of them. Last year tried Blade 3 but got a blister in my feet, so returned it. Have not tried blast 4. This year will try both new range; blast 4 and blade 4.

It depends what you mean by 'better'. If you want performance, you might want to go with a lighter shoe, which will give quicker movements but if you want protection and support for your foot and knee, then you need extra cushioning and might be a bit heavier. For me, I need extra cushioning for my ageing body.
