Bought this racquet from TradeMe, a New Zealand website similar to Ebay.
    Got it for $200.00 NZD

    As shown on the pics;
    Shaft Code: 7643540
    Cone Code: 111103JP

The raquet itself feels very light but I wish to confirm whether the raquet DEFINITELY fake because of the 0 in the cone code?

I wasn't able to upload the photos of the racquet itself for some reason... Let me know if more photos are required and I'll try to put them up, these are the only two photos which uploaded successfully.

    Unfortunately it's a FAKE racket..
you paid $200 for a racket from something similar like Ebay? wow..
you can get a new Z-slash less than that from Asian Country such as HK, Indonesia or Singapore. in addition it's a fake racket..

no, 0 in the fifth number is year
and it could be 2000 or 2010 (the guide is before 2010 so it's kinda out of date)

    however whats wrong is:
shaft serial too low for 2010 production
2010 production should have shaft serial started with 9 (9XXXXXX)
while yours is 7XXXXXX (this is famous pattern of fake racket)

secondly, the bag is not real arcsaber bag
the real arcsaber JP code bag is soft cloth bag

and even if the bag is not from JP code
real arcsaber bag non JP is from fabric not material you get

IMO, if you can return it, return it straight away
if you use paypal, ask paypal to investigate it and ask for refund because it's a fake racket

then go to reliable shop in NZ

    in NZ:
    http://www.yonex.com.au/brands/yonex/
    c
lick on "ace dealer" and choose your location

    for cheaper price
go for international website (but it might be subject to custom which is a headache)
    but they offer cheaper price

    http://www.mybadmintonstore.com/shop/
    a
HK based shop, fast shipping good serivce

    http://sohubuy.com/
    y
ou need to contact them to buy the racket, kinda slow respond
    but the price really competitive

    RKEP eric also good
he is trusted E-bay seller which also member in here

Thanks very much for the information.

I agree, it does seem a bit sketchy to buy something on a website like Ebay but it was gifted to me for my birthday so I wasn't the one who purchased it :(

Sad news but it's a relief to know whether it's fake or not.. I'll see what I can do to retrieve a refund.

    Thanks again!
