    Hi all,

I felt pain in the middle of my knee (Knee cap area), tend to be more towards the right of the knee cap. I've rested for about 2-3 weeks but the pain is still persisting. I felt most pain when bending (eg: Doing knee bender) or straightening my knee 45 degrees while sitting down. :crying: But I'm fine when walking or even running. Anyone knows what's the exact problem? A ligament problem or?

Thanks for your help and advise in advance!

Your kneecap might be slipping out of the groove in your thigh bone.
If it's that, then you can do some physio to improve it.

BUT it could also be a meniscal problem, which isn't quite so simple.

There is no substitute for seeing a medical person and letting them lay hands on you for proper diagnosis

    see a doctor first.

if its knee alignment, try wearing a patella brace aka jumper's knee strap. it'll help keep your knee cap in line as you move.
