I wonder if N95 would have done the same... had YY not apparently dipped it in bacon fat afterwards.[...]that provides maximum bite on the shuttle[...]
N99 vs N95 shootout coming soon on my twin TPros - same rackets, same tension.

Hi Licin
I am gonna participate in FTB's Badminton Gathering, next sunday (15 April) at Lodan Sport Hall, Ancol starting from 12.00 pm to 18.00 pm Jakarta time.
If I'm not mistaken, it is located near your home.
Hopefully you could spare your time and join the gathering too.

Hmmm....99 seems like a nice string based on its specs. Could it be the new 98 since it's such a thick string? Or new 95? Guess we have to wait for a review.
Does anybody know what color is available?

Currently there is only 1 color, i.e, white.

I've been using it for the past 3 weeks.

I strung it in 27x27 Lbs @2 knots with my VTZF.
In brief, indeed it feels quite better in terms of control, in comparison with Ultimax and NBG98.
But for repulsion, I feel Ultimax is still better compare to NBG 99, whilst NBG98 is in equal feeling with NBG99.
Durability wise, cannot answer it yet, I usually broke my string within 1-1.5 months (approximately consists of 40-50 hours of games). I would update the review when this string has been broken.

I noticed just now, this string is thick..
0.69mm
looks like a very durable string
@clawhammers:
so, this string would be an upgrade from NBG98? looks promising

@Avengers = I wouldn't say that NBG 99 is an upgrade from NBG 98. It is a different product, although it still within the sub-brand of Nanogy.
NBG98 felt slippery due to certain coating, whilst NBG99 felt quite rough (IMHO).
ps. = since you are Indonesian, there is comprehensive review at tepokbulu about this product. Hope you may find it useful thereunder.

After trying clawhammers's VTZF 4U-G5 strung NBG99JP at a tension which i forgot to ask
..
In my opinion, NBG99 is a nice string, which somehow reminds me to BG80..The surface is quite rough, although not as rough as BG80, but still it is rough..
