    Hi,

I just bought a n90 from an authorized dealer in NZ. There is something that I am a bit curious about.. As i can see some of the pictures of n90 posted in BC, most people have their serial numbers near the grip. My n90's serial number is near the t joint (that really long serial number), and only KNZ near the grip.. Is it still consider genuine?

is there supposed to be a serial number?

The Li Ning rackets produced from the year 2010 onwards have the K** letters engraved near the cone. This is different from the products manufactured in 2009 where there are numbers engraved near the cone. My Li Ning N90 has numbers engraved near the cone while my N50ii has KHZ engraved near the cone. Both are genuine. So don't worry, they should be genuine.

If i am not mistaken, someone mentioned in this forum that fake N90 have more grommets than the original. Original N90 1st gen has 72 grommets while the fake has more than 72, probably 74 or 76.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.
last night i play with N90 1st gen, i do not notice the shaft code nor K** code, but i do count grommets on the N90. Yes, it has 72 grommets. It is quite heavy head as well, with the weight distributed to the head & T-Joint area.

If you want to confirm whether it's genuine or not, I'll need non blurry pictures of:

    -buttcap
    -t-joint "LI NING"
-inner frame logo at the T-joint
    -12 o'clock PCF Reinforcing Technology
    -General shot of the gromets

Let's start with that~ And please use macro mode no flash!

However, fakes can have 72 grommets too, it is just a matter of drilling a hole and putting them inside. So I don't suggest confirming your racket is genuine after you count your grommets.
