RKEP had just launched 2 top class rackets in Feb 2012:
RKEP PRO6000 hex frame for fast swing with power
for all level players
balance: 290 -- 295
stiff: 3/5
(if 5/5 is most stiff, 1/5 most flex)
1st batch in navy blue/black
2nd batch coming in March in red/black

RKEP PRO9000
Woven Ti
for attacking players
balance: 290--295
stiff 4/5
1st batch in light blue
2nd batch coming in March in green
this is a stiff shaft for increased power for players with quick arm speed.

an X-Treme Tension Frame with low torque and virtually no lateral movement on impact, even with miss hits.

that's a very nice racket :)
esp the 9000 Woven Ti
it seems the 9000 Woven Ti is very thick?
IMO, it's a dream racket by combining two good materials

how about the performance and durability?

The 9000 looks very very similar to my Forza Ti555 S, the rating design "4 stiff", the two yellow grommets on top, the woven design along the frame...

I think Eric actually said the racket is produced on the same factory as Forza.

Could be, however the FZ was released 2 years ago, and it you think 550S which is very similar then it was 4 years ago.
So what's the point of this racquet ???

I prefer the Ashaway way nowadays, my RepulsorTec 950 isn't a copy of any other racquet

FORZA 550 is in 96 hole system which is not quite familiar to most users
PRO9000 is in standard 76 hole system
--- actually it is more close to that of Ashaway XT800
Samples rackets had been tested by some top class players and they all agreed this is the best model.

Eric: does the 9000 really have woven carbon, or is that woven pattern painted on?

the woven ti on the frame (check from the edge of the racket frame) are really material

Of course the 9000 could be a top class racquet, as it is an exact copy of the Ashaway Viper XT800 which is a copy of the FZ Ti555 S witout the 96 holes string pattern which is definitely a nice feature if you have some technique AND a decent fast arm :)

Why buy a copy of a copy when you can play with the real thing at a decent price ?

what you mean COPY OF COPY?
It is the same model racket made in same factory with best material and top class tec.
Even this is not newest model but what is the key point of new model?
They big sporting company keep on launched the new model in order to make buyers paying more and more money but is there anything real new in there?

Are the 9000s that you're selling green or blue? The pictures show the green the one but 1st batch are blue. Do you have pictures of the blue ones?
