My SHB100LTD's ripped similarly but after 2 years. Upgraded to SHB200's and they ripped within a month, got the SHB101's and they lasted 2.5 years with minor tears. I wore the rubber grip down to the sole and it's can still go longer, but chose not to since the grip is compromised. Recently got the SHB102LTD and they ripped within 3 months and they looked brand new. Yonex quality is really going down. My next pair will be Li Ning or Victor if I can't get them warrantied.

The shoes are great, they are light too! I like how it felt the best, from the two shoes I've owned so far.
I've owned the SHB LTD 101 (red) and the special one that is black and blue? The red one was the one that ripped.. the blue one is alright, but i like the 92MX the best. Probably because it just fit my feet nicely and didn't hurt my sides as much as the others did.

I didn't take a picture, but the PU fake leather area ripped and was just holding together by the thread stitches. I play twice a week

Happens when your feet is too tight for these shoes. Use Yonex 1/2 size larger than your normal size. Also some models are not suitable for wide feet. Ripped my SHB-85 in a similar way.
