Why did my shoe rip this way? yeyaya.jpg
It is ripped on the sides.
is my footwork incorrect, or is this usual for everyone?

    lol @ LD.

that is very bizarre wearing. the wear should be on the inside, not the outside. And to get ripper, rather than worn through... very strange.

IMO, maybe your feet are too big for the shoes, that's why it rips

Are your foot too wide for that shoes?
Do you feel sore on your foot after wearing those shoes for playing badminton?

replaced a more robust shoe i guess u play too much of left n right on the front net or pushing urself to the limit to retrive drop shots from someone.

asics sensei with rhino skin should solve ur problem.

Do you wash and dry your shoes in the sunlight etc? This coupled with wide feet could rip the hardened leather.

My SHB100LTD's ripped similarly but after 2 years. Upgraded to SHB200's and they ripped within a month, got the SHB101's and they lasted 2.5 years with minor tears. I wore the rubber grip down to the sole and it's can still go longer, but chose not to since the grip is compromised. Recently got the SHB102LTD and they ripped within 3 months and they looked brand new. Yonex quality is really going down. My next pair will be Li Ning or Victor if I can't get them warrantied.
