Would the inside wrap come loose and fling your racquet? I got my zs done with factory wrap on. Don't want to break it because of the plastic being on

When i mean break it, The seal breaks off Then slides off with your overgrip. Which means if you smash or something your racquet will fall out of your hands and smack the flooring or something. ^^^^

It actually does not matter much. The plastic wrap would hardly ever loosen up.

Some people would take off the plastic wrap because they do not like the hard "plasticky" feel of the wrap underneath their overgrip.

sometimes it even [preserves the original grip better so its actually a good idea of you know you're gonna add over grips anyway

This is what it looks like. I have a really nice wilson grip, (Forgot what it's called but my brother has at least 8 tubes of these (3 in a tube).

    Feels amazing.

I used to keep the plastic wrap on and used RKEP overgrips. But the grips kept sliding out of position (for some reason) after a session...so I removed the plastic and problem's gone.

Typically I try to leave it on... Try an overgrip and if it feels off... Take the plastic wrap off and then rewrap.

Ya I keep the plastic on, I don't like the sticky feeling on my racquet after I remove the grip so the plastic seal saves me from that.

Me too. Always keep the plastic wrap on. I also use RKEP grip and never have any problem, as long as I pull it really hard when putting it on. It still sticks well in the plastic wrap without being of course damaging the original grip. So I think it's a good idea to keep the racket last longer. Imagine if the original grip peels off everytime you change a new grip..... no good

i have both, but over time i think keeping the plastic on would be better especially if you plan to sell it off

Even if you don't sell them, you preserve them in good condition. It's like having a girl friend or wife who stays young :)
