Agree that Lateral Claw do add weight to the shoes. In my opinion it might be one of the reasons, why international players rarely wear Shoes with lateral claw.. SHB 65FT is quite popular among professional players these days..

I don't know about other shoes but SHB-100LTD, which has lateral claws, was one of the most popular and widely worn shoes back in 2008 among professional players.

Yeah if talking about SHB100, it was a very popular shoes back then..i am referring to SHB 102 series.. As I can recall Saina Nehwal wore it, however i hardly noticed other players wore it.

yeah, SHB102 is not too good. a bit heavy and a bit hard. not soft or comfortable like SHB100LTD.

it's about hkd590 in hk. saw those beauty the other day. i couldn't justify buying a new pair since i still have 2 seldom worn yonex shoes.

Great! I have tried shb F1 MX, it looks very eye catching and attractive in design. I liked it very much. The F1 was very light in weight, lighter than my old shoes like SHB 85Ltd, SHB 101Ltd, SHB100Ltd. F1 has flexibility like SHB 85Ltd, but feel more solid. It support very well on my heel so when I have to jump smash many times I felt confidence. Have no worry with my knee. Since I was an offensive player. And I felt more easily when I was jumping smash because the repulsion from the shoes. You can still play the game with more attractive, because of your skill that support by great looking and performance of your F1.

Peter had been wearing SHB-91M for many many years. I am surprised he switched in the last few months of his professaionl career.

maybe he's getting ready for his 2012 attire (white/gold) that will match the f1 ltd which costs RM440 here while f1 MX only costs RM350 :S

i grabbed f1 mx for rm280 near my place in Taman Megah
86ex @ rm260, the front fitting is too tight, even though both are same size
tried 2 sizes for both models taking me almost half an hour
wanted to get the orange 86ex but in the end took f1 mx due to comfort

i even brought my small weight scale, 86ex is just 10-30 grams heavier than f1 mx, didnt exceed 300 grams (size US 9)

280 is pretty decent price, which one was nicer to jump? my heels always tender/hurt after a baddy session. i may probably just need to buy a heel cup

He most likely is wearing a SHB-F1M (JP) instead of SHB-F1LTD (EX/SP).

By the way, SHB-F1LTD retail price is RM499.90
