We used to use Trump shuttles, crap. Then Yipu shuttles, even more crap.
Then we use aeroplane green and red now. Green is average but red is pretty good. It last quite well but players have complained that its too fast.
Well, we players just got to be faster then....lol
dont ask me about the price cause the club never bother to disclose. I think they just buy whatever is within their budget.

Hi Guys newbie here
Where would i get some of the shuttles like yangyang tactic 300b and rsl tourney's in Sydney at the prices you guys are throwing around? I only know rebel sport and i swear you walk outta there without arms and legs...contact details and locations if retail would be greatly appreciated!

We just started a new club in Darwin and I'm trying a mix of RSL shuttles and Victor Shuttles which I ordered up from Melbourne (Kobeng Na). I think I'll eventually settle on RSL Tourney No1 for the better players and Victor Classics for the beginners. Beginners tend to side hit the shuttles a lot which destroys shuttles quickly so at $12 a tube bulk order the Victors will do. The RSL Tourny shuttles are however much nicer. Now I just need to sort out the speed issue. We are playing in Air Conditioning and 79 speed feels a bit slow s I guess I need to go to 80. I found that lightly spraying the inside of the tubes makes the shuttles last longer!

Hey Baddoug
I gave up on rebel and went looking for alternatives. If you don't mind trekking out to Macquarie Centre in North Ryde, there's a store called Love All which have shuttlecocks which start at $15 upwards. I tried the Aeroplane greens($15), they last about a game at best. I have moved to Aeroplane Blacks and they are far more durable around 2.5 games at least.

I'm looking for some shuttles too. Looking to buy 50-100 tubes locally in Perth or interstate is ok. So far I'm looking at:
An-Yu
Aeroplane Black
RSL Tourney 1
Victor Champion No 1
Speed prefably 79. Any suggestions on suppliers/contacts?

BadDoug,
I got Aeroplane greens from Love All but got Aeroplane Blacks from a guy who supplies where I play. We've been able to secure themfor $24 per tube, so if you haggle perhaps you can get for around the same price :-)
