Thwack Interclub Badminton Tournament, Mumbai

With over 100 participants from the various gymkhanas in Mumbai, this tournament has kick started on the 5th Feb with the finals on 19th Feb.

Following is the schedule of the tournament!

Teams
Group A - Khar Gym (KG), Bombay Gym (BG), Andheri-B (ANB)
Group B - Chembur Gym (CG), Matoshree (MS), BEST (BT), Andheri-A (ANA)

Match Schedule
Venue - Chembur Gym, 5th Feb, 10 am onwards
Ties - CG V BT, MS V ANA, CG V MS, BT V ANA

Venue - Khar Gym, 5th Feb, 10 am onwards
Ties - KG V BG, BG V ANB

Venue - Khar Gym, 12th Feb, 10 am onwards
Ties - KG V ANB
All Family event matches till semifinal stages

Venue - Bombay Gym, 18th Feb, 5.30 pm onwards
Team Semifinals

Venue - Bombay Gym, 19th Feb, 10 am onwards
Team finals
Play off for 3/4th place, Play off for 5/6th place

Useful thread.

I had checked the notice put up in Dadoji Konddev stadium, thane regarding the thwack tournament. It had mentioned that we need to send email to Sanjay sharma. I had sent an email for the family event alongwith my daughter on 24th january, and had also called the mulund number.. they said they would get back, but no information. today i find in this thread that the tournament had already started yesterday for the family event for which i had registered, but received no confirmation. What could be the reason for not including my entry? I was very much interested to play with my daughter. Pl reply

Update: Thwack will be awarding a Lifetime Achievement award to Indian badminton legend of yesteryears Mr. Nandu Natekar this Sunday at the finals!
