Hi, I have a couple of Yonex NanoSpeed 9900 strung at 11 kg (24.2 lbs), Yonex BG 80. One of them is OK. The other is starting to be a problem . The first time, the strings snapped after 5 hours of play. Yesterday after the 2 nd restring, it lasted 1 hour only ! I only did a fast tap at the net. So I switched to the other one & had no problems. The second racquet has clocked at least 15 hours. Any suggestion what's going on here. Grommet issue for this specific racquet ? I never use the racquet to pick up the shuttle from the floor, I bend to collect to it .
Maybe bad stringer? Maybe a solution: Wait some days after restring. Is collecting shuttles with the racket that bad? Never heard before. Especially there's not much "force" given to the racket if picking up a shuttle?
Racquet was strung and not used for for about 5 five days. It is the same racquet where the strings break. The stringer is fine, I'm going into the shop tomorrow; at least this time it should be replaced without the cost (I hope ) Not bad at all collecting the shuttles with the racquet; of course you'll need to do it well without grazing the string against the floor too much (abrasion=strings snapping). I'm not good at it so I avoid this
