    After the 2012 Uber Cup Preliminary tournaments held last week, we have these 10 finalists;

    1. Korea
    2. Japan
    3. China
    4. Thailand
    5. Taipei
    6. Indonesia
    7. Germany
    8. Denmark
    9. The Netherlands
    10. Australia

So happy that our Australian team have made it. :D:D:D

I think China will win back the 2012 Uber Cup.

Yeah, the games were all colossal upsets in that final. The Korean players were clearly stunned that they'd managed to win after each game. It was glorious - nearly didn't bother going on that day!

Looking at China UC line-up of World Top 4 WS and World Top 2 WD, bearing any 'bad hair day' like in UB 2010, at worst is for China to lose 1 WS + 1 WD.

Korea again will be China's biggest threat.

Japan, Indonesia and Denmark have small chance to get 1 point against the formidable China women. :)

Now with Wang Shixian moving on with the assumption that her Olympic dream is over, is she going to help China win back the Uber Cup 2012 ?

It's expected of China to meet defending champions Korea again and Wang Shixian's service will be most needed to secure a point for her team.. LYB is smart enough to announce the players who feature in the Olympics after the Uber Cup but Wang Shixian seems to be aware of what her fate is like right now?

Will she sabotage the team or out of patriotism spur China to win their 12th Uber Cup in Wuhan

I doubt if LYB will use WSX much maybe just in early rounds. The best UC line-up is WYH, WX and LXR.

Expecting LYB to name 5 WS players for the 2012 Uber Cup?

    .
    I also believe so. :):):)

Anyway, I would expect LYB to name 5 WS players for the 2012 Uber Cup.

Wang Xin will definitely disappoint ...against players from Japan/Korea..

If Wang Yihan fails to win back Uber Cup, i wonder if she will be dropped from the OG out of vendetta by LYB..

Remember LYB is a very vengeful person...he even went to the extent of dropping Wang Yihan again from Asian Games team even though she won 2 back to back titles in Europe and he included Lu Lan instead who was totally out of shape for no reason....

KOR, JPN and THA are now producing stronger WS and WD players

    .
While INA standard drops, KOR, JPN and THA are now producing stronger WS and WD players.

LYB should find not as easy to win, as it was in past years.

I wonder anymore "Quotes" from LYB now before TC & UC 2012.
If he does "predict" China to win, and is wrong again, maybe he will be next in-line for the firing squat (I mean . . . . sacking) :D:D.
Maybe that is why "Li Lingwei or Han Aiping" is on 'replacement' standby . . .:D:D

Unnecessary drama. You sure make Wang Shixian seem like a beast. Stop defaming her already.
I guess there is no point for me trying to reason with you that she is a professional player. Been there, done that and you continue to treat Wang Shixian as a character in a drama.

Would Wang Shixian sabotage her own team?

    .
Hahaha... We can see that Miqilin7 is quite worried (posting drama-wise) about Wang Shixian. :D:D:D

At the 2012 Uber Cup, every member of each team has to do her part.

Would Wang Shixian sabotage her own team? If she would, she would be unforgiven; Not only for her CHN teammates and fans, but for all Badminton-loving followers.
    ;););)

The CBA is very uncouth in excluding Lee Chong Wei in its posters for the Thomas Cup/Uber Cup finals tie in Wuhan.
How could the world number 1 be left out whereas the lower-ranked TH and PHG are included?
The CBA is not being smart stooping so low to psych the Malaysian team.
Shame on the organizers who never play fair.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Perhaps the Chinese organisers think that Lee Chong Wei would not be playing at this 2012 Thomas & Uber Cups event. :D:D:D
