Does anybody here know where to send broken Yonex racquets that are still under warranty. I know it's somewhere in Calgary, just don't know the specific address. Thanks.

I tried but the guy said that if you want to you can send it yourself to Yonex. It's a small store and the owner works alone.

So what if you don't want to send it yourself? Will the shop owner do it?:p

And if you send it you have to pay and insure against further damage, let the retailer sort it out.;)

Did you contact Yonex Canada first? I think they need to give you a RMA number and whatever else before you send it back... otherwise they'll think you're sending them broken racquets to dispose of! :D

You don't need an RA# but you should provide details on where purchased, when, and how it broke. Also be sure to give your Phone #. If it's an older version of a raquet try to have a receipt of your purchase. Raquets are only warrantied for a period of one year but can be longer if it's a defect in manufacturing.

Actually the official warranty period is 6 months but they're quite lenient apparently. Basically if it's under a year, they'll consider it which is probably why many people think the warranty is 1 year.

bring it to sportexpert and pay 15$ for the transport, you don't need to have the receipt(if u have, the transportation fee is free). they will send it for you. I did that for my mp99.

btw, do i know u? u play at the ymca in chinatown, right?

kevinak, one of my friends also did that for his mp88 but he did buy his racquet at sport experts and he knew when he bought it so they were apparently able to retrieve the receipt from their database. I didn't think they would do it for me considering how I bought my racquet elsewhere so I ended up sending the racquet to Yonex myself, had I known sport experts was willing to do that I would've gone to them.

And yes, you're right, I do play at the Chinatown YMCA, mind giving me a hint on who you are? Actually, there's only a few people I've seen at Chinatown using an mp99 so I think I might know who you are.:D

    ur racket is mp77 right?

my mp99 has no receipt too, and i don't know where it's come from, cz i buy it from someone, it doesn't matter where u buy it, but make sure the serial number in the racket is ended with CD or US. The advantage to have the receipt is just you don't have to pay the 15$ transporation fees. Go to the sport expert in downtown (near eaton center) and tell them you lost ur receipt, they will ask u to pay 15$ and they will send it for u.

r u zhong's friend? if yes, i'm the guy who always take ur hq3500 to look.:D

Oh you. I heard that you bought your mp99 from Billy, I didn't know you broke it. Also I see that you're using a Ti-10 now, what happened to your new mp100? I actually still do have my receipt but it isn't from Sport Experts. Anyway it's great that I, now, know how it works. Thanks.
