I have a whole collection of rackets.. but this one can't be beat for value for money. same can be said for lurid power 23. both very easy to play with and very affordable. read review here http://asmd.wordpress.com/2012/02/23/apacs-finapi-88-carbon-for-the-common-man/
Played with this racket for a while. I stopped using it because it made my elbow hurt. Seems like the frame doesn't absorb any vibration.
my copy(s) doesn't vibrate. but then again, apacs is sort of known to have sample variation. i dont hesitate recommending these to beginners/intermediate players looking for a half decent racket cheap. Lurid power 21 is also an excellent racket, mine got coerced out of my hands by a friend who really wanted it after playing with it.
Slayer 99 and Lethal 70 is good too YES I agree, Lurid Power 21/22/23 are great rackets (Armortec Yonex Equivalents) but since the Lurid Power is APACS' own line, the QC and the racket quality is much better than the APACS clone series (Finapi, ArmorMuscle, MuscleConcept, Nano etc....)
i cant say for those rackets as i havent tried them, but the lurid power 21 as mentioned is a step above the finapi 88 for very little more. a very easy to play racket indeed. the plastic butt of my handle that houses the counter weight fractured and i had to permanently superglue the counter weight in. plays fine so far, been more than a year now. could have been just my bad luck,.. but it was a minor fix. i buy my apacs rackets from ebay and just as a fyi - - badmintonbay - very good/reliable. - badmintonace - good. prompt delivery and very good communication. - proonesports - didnt deliver and ebay provided a refund. (AVOID!)
for me, i have played with the finapi 88 and edsaber z-slayer. The z-slayer is fantastic for fast-paced game. very well balanced and fast. the finapi on the other hand is quite forgiving for smashes and clears due to head-heavy balance, slower than z-slayer but more power overall. maybe time to get the lurid power to try
I just bought Z-Slayer couple of weeks ago, but it didn't suit me well. Everytime I hit the shuttle, it went halfcourt. Thus, I currently wanna sell it. It seems that I received a good review and recomendation regarding Finapi 88. Maybe will buy it, cheaper than Voltirx he he.. Currently I stick with my Lethal 10.
