Hi. I have a Yonex VT80 and yesterday I was playing in the gym next to the bleachers. So I had this one weird smash and I smacked my racket head onto the bleachers super hard and it made the loudest BAMMM I've heard and even everyone in the gym looked over. So far, I don't see any chips or anything just probably a little tiny smudge on the paint. Do you think I caused any sort of "internal" damage to my racket? (I'm not super sure which part of the racket head I hit, but it was hard and loud =O)

hard to say. can be either case as all we got is just a description...

but what can you do anyway? just keep playing with it. if it breaks it breaks, no point worrying about it.

    dun think so much

its more productive to spend time on your game than to think on whether racket is damaged internally

it would be better if you uploaded a picture of your racket.

Your racket will probably be fine up until you have to get it restrung. You should let the stringer know that you might've damaged it so the stringer wont be suprised when he's strinigng it

Well if you hit it as hard as you make it seem, it's possible that a crack might have occurred inside the frame under the paint. Good luck to you, though. I hope your racket is okay :s
