What's that sound??

    One day i was playing badminton and i heard this very weird sound. I found out that it came from a player's racket from another court. It is sounded very weird as when he hit the shuttle, it produces a sound like what u hear when you use a badminton tube to hit some wooden stuff. It sounded like 'pak' or 'tak'. I when nearer to see and realised their lower part of the racket head's string had something transparent covering it's string. I wonder what is it :confused: anybody knows?

    you should try it,ive tried it and it makes the string feels soft

    definitely a selafone tape. . . .bout the functions i am not sure. . .but yeah,it does make tat kind of sound

    some people put female nylon stocking over the head of the racket to warm up or train :)

    Maybe it's the sound of somebody farting in the corner? Lol jk, I think it's scotch tape as well..but i dont know why some players do that. Any pros here care to enlighten us? >.<
