I think it is dangerous, a great folly and unfair to think that China players are inflexible and can't think on the spot or vary their game when required. They will not be able to produce so many champion players in recent years if they are so dumb.

China has an abundance of badminton talents such that many of them are not given a chance to shine at the world stage.

Even WR1 LCW had found it so hard to crack LD. Just as LD and company are able to study LCW's game in detail, so can LCW's camp on LD's game. This is nothing new as everybody else are doing the same thing.

I'm sure most non-China players are trying to avoid China opponents if possible out of a sheer respect for their abilities. But non-China players are improving and they realize that they have to work much harder to catch up with the Chinese. There is no easy way out.
