Hi. To those who have used both of these rackets, which one is more head heavier and heavier in overall weight? Also, which one is easier to maneuver with. Btw, is 295bp very head heavy?...like would a 5mmbp make a big difference? Thanks.
depends on what sort of racket you are use to. the bp and head heaviness rating also depends on the weight class of the racket.
wow first time you recommended me to use a 4U visor lolz. why is that, if you don't mind explaining xD. Is the mx60 heavier than the BS11?
Yes, if both are exactly the same wt, mx series frame is thicker and "meatier" than bs series. So it'll feel and play a bit heavier.
Oh i see what you mean. Yea i had a BS11 before and it did look very "anorexic" LOL compared to other rackets. Have you tried both these rackets?
not bs11... but i have a 3u bs12, 3u mx70, 4u mx80, 4u sw30, 4u vt80, and a newly acquired 3u rkep pro9000 ...
One more comparison if you don't mind, how would a MX60 3U compare to a VT80 4U when looking at head heaviness, maneuverability effort, and overall weight? Thanks a whole lot!
for sure 4u vt80 is head heavier despite it weighing less in total weight this makes it have a much higher swing weight (ie. how it feels when you swing it) pro: amazing power in smashes, clears, good for singles cons: hard to maneuver, poor defence, not for doubles
So since im really skinny and not that strong, but I can still manage to use a 4U VT80, would the 3U MX60 be a big relief for me even though it is overall heavier? I promise last question. hahaha
yep... for sure the 3u mx60 would be easier to wield for doubles i use my 3u mx70 (dry 87.1g, bp 295mm) for doubles and save my4U vt80 (dry 82.9g, bp 310mm!) for singles note that despite my mx70 being 4g heavier, its still easier to swing and use in doubles than the vt80
Ok I'm going to have to break a promise here >.< I just noticed above you said that I should get the MX60 4U if I played feather and 3U if I play plastic. Can't I use 3U for both?
Usually on wekends i always play with plastics. But I might join my school team and they might be using feathers. So I'll be using both at different times.
well, seeing as you can handle the 4u vt80, you're strong enough to use the 3u mx60 if not, within a few months of training and playing, you will be anyways
Fark man, don't encourage him! I'll be getting my MX60 mid next week, so I'll do an initial comparo then.
