    Default the progress of the 2012 All England Open

    I'll be tracking the progress of the AE 2012, here are the players for the 1st round represented by 23 countries, with that 9 countries has players in all 5 events.

    when i first saw the thread, i thought you mean the progress as in how fast the matches has been going. apparently on Wed matches lasted as late as 3am.

    surely they must have a cut-off point that the match couldn't start after a certain time. how can you expect people play after midnight?

    I was about to correct myself but thanks for pointing that out. Too much badminton makes your mind turn to jelly!

    KKK/TBH's miserable run contnues. They lost to the unseeded Chinese pair of HW/SY in the 2nd round.
    The other Malaysians, CPS/GLY and Liew Daren, continue to progress and could spring surprises in the QF.
    TTY and TH upset the form book beating JS (S8) and CJ (S5) respectively. Hopefully TH could put up a good show against LD (S2) and progress further in the All-England which tournament he has never won.

    Better you than me .....

    I'm supposed to go overseas to work on a project, not divert to the NIA via the long road thru Dubai and London. Had time to stop by the Olympic Park and London Eye too. And the media already reported that the Olympic Park budget has gone over by a cool 2 Billion GBP.
