Looking for a all-around racket. Bs 10 vs bs 15 vs sw 35. Which one suits my preference more.

i have a BS 10 and i would say its an excellent racket, if you like the stiff feeling..

SW 35 is more head heavy than the rest, so smashing with it will have a better crunch... but of course, you compensate in terms of speed

I play doubles and prefer a racket with power, control and a decent defence.

I like the stiff feeling too but what are the difference between a flexible and a stiff racket? Does it give u more power, defence, etc. Btw, which racket has more control between bs 10 and sw35.

The BS10 gives me more control. A flexible racket will lose out slightly on control but gives you more leverage in power. The flexibility of the shaft will become a "hold" to your shuttle a then push it out when it reflects. which stiffer rackets will be higher in terms of repulsion. Shuttles bounce off the surface instantly upon contact. :)

SoS999: For your doubles, I would suggest the BS10 over the SW35. It is quicker and has excellent control. Both are stiff -- probably equally so -- but the head heaviness of the SW35 might slow down your reaction speed at the net. The power is good with the BS10 if you have a quick swing (the shuttle just goes 'zing' to the floor). But if you have a big slow arm swing, you will find the SW35 has the advantage in power. In a strong arm, the SW35 is very imposing. Good luck.

I feel that my current victor racket which have the same head heaviness & flexibility as the mx80 lacks in power & defence

Have you done a search on the BS 11?
A quick search does not turn up a dedicated thread for a BS 11 review, but here are some of the most salient threads for you to browse. At the end is Paul Stewart's racket review link for the BS 11.

I've found that the forum search function is not very good. :(. Much better to just google it.

Out of those three, I suggest the BS10. BS10 and SW35 are both really great rackets, but the BS10 is a much better all-rounder.

Does anyone still have the specs for the brave sword 9, can't find it in victor website as they have stop production for it.
